Hi there does this software integrate into an existing mysql database or does it require its own? I have a mambo site and would like to integrate this software into an existing database.
thanks in advance
Thank you, can you tell me if i need to alter any files in the install folder to have it attach to an existing database , passwords, datbase name etc.
kind regards
thank you
the install directions are written in french which unfortunately i can't read this great language and although i can get yhe basic gist i still need to know do i have to alter anything to connect to an EXISTING database??
many thanks once again
Hi thanks i have read this and as i understand it the install creates a sql database? but i already have one and want to connect openflyers to this will it do this automatically or do i need to specify somewhere in the install files the EXISTING database name and password etc.
when i go to the install page it asks me what language so i choose english and then nothing happens?
ok where do i give it the parameters? and how do i validate my selection (i have a feeling that i'm missing something and that pear could not be supported on my server thus i'm not seeing anything after my initial selection of english).
hi i get the first one and select english but then nothing happens and i don't see the second one
also my host supports pear (i just asked)and tells me that:
path to pear \usr\bin\pear\
pear directory \usr\share\pear

it is indeed
incidentally i'm no further forward than the pear error page yet and i have my Internet service provider checking their pear install so hopefully it will be ok soon
No. it's a webmaster job: you just have to download the file on our website, then unzip it and copy files into a directory of your choice where is located OpenFlyers (PEAR for example). After, you just have to set the path in the conf/config.php file (it's the PEAR_DIRECTORY setting).
